Trio Agogo features three of Melbourne’s finest exponents of Brazilian music – guitarists Paul Carey and Adam May, with percussionist Alastair Kerr. They will be joined in performance by Ben Carr on saxophone at the Paris Cat on Saturday 23 July. Their live show is a fiery display of one of the first true Brazilian instrumental music forms.

On Sunday 17th July, Trio Agogo will visit the Global Village tourist office to chat about the forthcoming performance and also to play some Choro and Samba.

The group has performed from festival and conservatorium stages to the gritty back lane bars and botequims around Australia. All members of the group have lived, studied and traveled in Brazil, bringing a wealth of knowledge and understanding to their music.
